Robyn is a qualified biokineticist, sports massage therapist, and proud mom to a beautiful little girl, with over nine years of experience in sports massage and rehabilitation and five years as a Biokineticist. She specialises in a holistic approach that treats the whole person, not just the injury, combining hands-on expertise with movement science to support lasting health and well-being.
She holds a BA in Sport, Recreation and Exercise Science (Summa Cum Laude, UWC, 2018), a BA Honours in Biokinetics (Cum Laude, UWC, 2019), and an MPhil in Biokinetics (with Distinction, UCT, 2022). She is currently completing her PhD at the University of Cape Town. Robyn is a published researcher and has presented at the South African Sports Medicine Association Congress on the effects of sports massage in athletes.
In addition to her clinical and research work, Robyn has delivered lectures and tutorials in anatomy and physiology at both UCT and UWC, mentors postgraduate students, and serves as a lead assessor for the SSISA Online Personal Training Certificate. Her teaching is encouraging, interactive, and holistic, and is rooted in practical relevance, curiosity, and empowerment to equip learners with both the skills and confidence to apply them.
